Balloon Burst Duel – Q vs P, 45s Pop Race

Balloon Burst Duel is a frantic local pop race on one device. Balloons rise on each half of the screen; tap Q (or click left) versus P (or click right) to burst the lowest balloon on your side. When the 45-second clock hits zero, the higher pop count wins—or it can draw.

About this game

Each balloon belongs to a side and drifts upward with a slight wobble. Keyboard pops always clear your lowest balloon; pointer taps prefer the balloon under the cursor and fall back to the lowest if you miss. Missed balloons float off the top with no score. Press R mid-round or after the results overlay to restart the timer and counts.

FAQ

What does Q or P pop when I press it?

Each key pops the lowest balloon currently on your half of the screen—ideal for fast rhythmic tapping.

Do clicks work differently from keys?

Yes. A click tries to pop a balloon near the pointer on your half; if none are in range it still pops your lowest balloon.

Can balloons cross the middle line?

No. Each balloon spawns and stays on one side. You only score pops on your color/half.

What happens when time runs out?

After 45 seconds the round ends. Higher pop count wins; equal counts are a draw. Press R for another race.

Do escaped balloons cost points?

They do not subtract score, but every balloon that floats off the top is a missed chance to lead.
