About this game
Scoring matches the classic sheet: upper faces sum matching pips; Three/Four of a Kind sum all dice when the set qualifies; Full House is 25; Small Straight 30; Large Straight 40; Yahtzee 50; Chance is the dice total. Each category scores once across thirteen turns. The optional 35-point upper bonus is omitted in this MVP so the loop stays clear.

Common use cases
- Chase a high sheet total when you want real Yahtzee math without a physical pad.
- Practice which categories to sacrifice when a roll is awkward.
- Play a calm, click-driven dice session that fits in one browser tab.
Tips
- Hold a strong pair or three-of-a-kind early, then hunt matching faces on later rolls.
- Do not waste Yahtzee or Large Straight slots on near-misses—Chance and upper boxes can absorb junk.
- You get three rolls maximum per turn; after the third, you must pick a category.
FAQ
How many rolls do I get per turn?
Up to three. After each roll you may hold any dice before rolling again. Then you must score into one unused category.
What is a Yahtzee worth?
Five of a kind scores 50 points in the Yahtzee box. Other categories use their usual official values.
Can I score the same category twice?
No. Each of the thirteen categories may be filled only once. After all thirteen are filled, the game ends.
Is the upper-section bonus included?
Not in this MVP. Running total sums the thirteen category scores only; the 63+/35 bonus is skipped for clarity.
