Tug War Duel – Pull Past the Line
Tug War Duel is a two-player rope tug on one keyboard. A gold marker starts at center; Player 1 mashes D to yank left, Player 2 mashes K to yank right. Each valid tap nudges the flag eight pixels. Cross the left or right finish line and you win instantly.
About this game
The game rate-limits taps to about one every 80 milliseconds, so rhythm beats blind spam. The rope and center pole stay fixed while only the flag moves. There is no score cap—first player to drag the marker past x=80 or x=560 takes the round. R resets to center.
Controls

Common use cases
- Settle who has faster fingers in a ten-second mash-off.
- Break a tie after other duel games with pure tap speed.
- Run a fair side-by-side tug with no networking setup.
Tips
- Alternate steady taps near the 80 ms gate instead of holding the key.
- Keep your hand anchored on D or K so you do not miss the edge win.
- Watch the gold circle—small leads snowball once you pass mid-rope.
