Breakout Blocks – Classic Brick Breakout
Breakout Blocks keeps the ball glued to your paddle until you press Space. Then bounce it through four rows of ten bricks with a wide paddle, keyboard or mouse aiming, and five lives—each miss reseats the ball so you can launch again.

About this game
Every broken brick adds ten points. Hit angle comes from where the ball meets the paddle: edges send sharper sideways shots, the center keeps a steeper climb. Empty the board to win; burn all five hearts and R rebuilds the wall from scratch.

Common use cases
- Warm up classic breakout reflexes with a slow first launch and a forgiving paddle width.
- Practice mouse-aiming the paddle while Space fires the waiting ball.
- Chase a clean clear of all forty bricks before your five lives run out.
Tips
- Launch only when the paddle sits under a gap you want—the ball starts from the paddle center.
- Use the paddle edges to bend the ball toward side columns still standing.
- After a miss, wait for the ball to reseat, then Space again; do not mash launch while it is already flying.
FAQ
How do I start the ball in Breakout Blocks?
The ball sits on the paddle until you press Space. After a miss it reseats the same way.
How many lives do I get?
Five. Each drop below the paddle costs one heart; at zero you get game over.
How do I win?
Destroy every brick in the four-row wall. Clearing the board shows the win screen.
Can I use the mouse?
Yes. Move the mouse over the canvas to steer the paddle, or use A/D and arrow keys.
