Frogger Browser Game – Cross the Road and River

Frogger Browser Game rebuilds the road-and-river hopping classic on a simple grid. Your frog starts at the bottom; arrow keys move it one cell at a time. Get past a lane of moving cars, then survive a river where the only safe ground is a drifting log.

About this game

Cars in the middle lanes end a life on contact. In the river rows there is no ground at all — you must be standing on a log or you sink, and logs carry you sideways as they drift, so recompute your next hop. Reaching the top row scores a bonus and sends the frog back to start for another crossing. Three lives total; losing all three ends the run.

FAQ

How do I cross the river safely in this Frogger browser game?

Only step onto a log when it is directly under your frog. Standing in open water without a log costs a life.

What happens when a car hits my frog?

Any contact with a car costs one of your three lives. Losing all three lives ends the run.

How is score calculated?

You score for advancing past your furthest row and get a bonus for reaching the top safe zone, which then resets your frog to the start row.

Is this game free to play in the browser?

Yes. It runs entirely with keyboard arrow keys, no download or account required.
