Whack Targets – Timed Whack-a-Mole Grid

Whack Targets is a classic mole board shrunk to nine holes. Targets pop up for a short life window; click the face to score and flash it green. A countdown in the corner tracks the 45-second round. Near the end, spawn gaps tighten so more faces appear at once.

About this game

Missed targets simply retreat—no life penalty—so the race is pure hits per minute. After time runs out, the overlay shows your tally and R restarts a fresh clock. Pointer aim on the canvas is the only input mid-round.

FAQ

How long is each Whack Targets round?

Every round is fixed at 45 seconds. When the timer hits zero, moles stop spawning and your score freezes.

Do missed moles cost lives?

No. Targets that time out just go down. Only successful clicks add to the score.

Why do more moles appear later?

Spawn delay shortens as your score rises, and sometimes two moles rise in the same burst—so late rounds feel denser.

Is keyboard play supported during the round?

Scoring is click/tap only. Keyboard is used for R to restart after or during a round.
